Central Edges Proctor in 7th

Duluth Central erased a 4-3 deficit by scoring two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to earn a 5-4 win over Proctor in a Lake Superior Conference high school baseball game at Wade Stadium Wednesday.

Proctor took a 4-3 lead in the top of the seventh on a double by Cory Ward and an RBI single by Brady Peterson.

Dan Guerndt had three hits and Matt Pfingsten threw a three-hitter for Central, 10-2.

Peterson had two hits and Jason Howard struck out 12, pitching a complete game for Proctor, 7-3.
