Jay Cornell pitched a six-hitter with eight strikeouts and Ron Jauhola pitched two innings of one-hit relief as the Rails won at Terry Egerdahl Field.
Cornell had two hits and Ben Carlson went 2-for-3 with three RBIs for Proctor, 1-0.
Josh Aldinger had two hits for the Mariners, 0-1.

Proctor sinks Mariners 10-6
The Rails began the season at Terry Egerdahl Field with a 10 - 6 victory over Silver Bay.
Jay Cornell led Proctor with two hits and a fine pitching performance. He hurled a six-hitter with eight strikeouts. He was relieved by Ron Jauhola who threw two innings. The Mariners were only able to get one hit off of Jauhola.
Ben Carlson went 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
