Denfeld's Selness no-hits Proctor

Duluth Denfeld's Nick Selness threw a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts Tuesday as the Hunters beat Proctor 3-0 in a Lake Superior Conference high school baseball game at Wade Stadium.

Selness, a senior right-hander, walked two and hit a batter in seven innings. Only one Proctor player reached second base.

Bryan Reese had two doubles and scored twice for Denfeld (3-1).

Nik Watkins threw a five-hitter and struck out three for the Rails.
