Gow tosses no-hitter for East
Sophomore shuts down Proctor

Sophomore right-hander Josh Gow threw a no-hitter with nine strikeouts to lead Duluth East to a 16-0 victory over Proctor in a high school baseball game Tuesday at Ordean Field.

Brian Rechichi had a historic home run for the Greyhounds (4-1). The East senior hit the first home run at the new Ordean Field with a 390-foot two-run homer in the second inning.

Seth Amadio had two doubles and Mark Niemi had two hits and two RBIs for East, which had 14 hits.
