Recap for the 04/24/2003 game @ Two Harbors

Preview Recap
Proctor Rails 15, Two Harbors 6

Proctor 15, Two Hbrs. 6

Heading into game two the Proctor Rails were looking to avenge the frustration of the loss to the Greyhounds. Unfortunately, Two Harbors was on the receiving end of that frustration, as the Rails pulverized the Agates 15-6.

Proctor wasted little time in taking control of the away game, with two runs punched across home plate in the first and second innings. The Agates could muster just one run.

Proctor added single runs in the third and fourth innings, before rallying in the sixth for six runs, and three more in the top of the seventh.

Ryan Anderson led the team at the plate going 4-for-6 with two RBI's and three runs scored. Dan Carlson had two hits, a single RBI, and scored four times. Travis Olsen and Doug Anderson each had three hits in five trips to the plate. Olsen added two RBI's and he crossed home plate once. Anderson scored three times and had one RBI.

A true crowd pleaser came in the sixth inning when Adam Carroll legitimately stole home to add another notch to the scoreboard.

"This was a great game because not only did we get our first win, but we also were able to get everybody on the team into the game," reported [Coach Tim] Rohweder.

Dan Carlson started on the mound in this game, going five innings, before Ryan Anderson came on in relief the final two innings.
