Recap for the 04/11/2003 game @ Chisago Lakes

Preview Recap
Chisago Lakes 5, Proctor Rails 0

Chisago L. 5, Proctor 0

In the second outing Proctor took to the road for a show-down with a much improved Chisago Lakes team.

The teams were locked in a 0-0 tie after two and a half innings of play.

That is when the Wildcats unleashed to put three runs across the plate. Chisago pounded in single runs in the fourth and fifth innings.

Bud Brandon Tessier pulled down his first start of the year on the pitcher's mound. He scored two strikeouts, gave up two hits, and held Chisago Lakes scoreless in two of three innings pitched. At the plate Tessier clubbed a two-base hit to lead the Rails' offensive efforts.

Dustin Wiita looked sharp and in control, according to the coach Tim Rohweder, as he came on in relief of Tessier. "We played a pretty solid game defensively, but had a hard time getting runners into scoring position," reported Rohweder. "When we do put the whole package together we will win some games,"

Proctor will be on the road today (Thurs.) for a 4:30 p.m. game against Two Harbors. Tomorrow (Fri.) they host Mora at 7 p.m. Tues., April 29, the team will travel to Grand Rapids for a 4:30 p.m. game.
