Brian Olson doubled and scored on a balk in the eighth inning, lifting Hermantown to an extra-inning win in Lake Superior Conference action at Hermantown.

The Hawks' Wayne Watson scored on a wild pitch to tie the score 4-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Tom Peterson singled in a run and scored on a double steal in the third to give the Rails a 2-0 lead.

The Hawks, now 5-0 in the LSC and 6-4 overall, scattered seven hits.

Jock Finner got the win in relief, coming in for Scott Ollila with two on and one out in the sixth inning.

Proctor drops to a 1-9 overall record.
