Chris Kindgren pitched 3 2/3 innings of hitless relief and added the game-winning hit for the host Rails.

The Rails, 1-1, rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win on Kindgren's two-run single in the fifth inning. Mark Kieren had an RBI double in the first inning. Lee Stephenson pitched the final inning to earn a save.

Cathedral had only three hits.
