Superior scored seven runs on five hits in the fourth inning and went on to defeat Proctor in a Lake Superior Conference game at Superior.
A two-run homer by pinch hitter Terry Reinkall ended the game in the fifth inning by the 10-run rule.
Mark Slattengren doubled and scored Proctor's only run in the first inning on a single by Randy Fietek.
Tom Beattie scattered four hits for the Spartans' seventh consecutive win. Superior is 9-1 overall.

The Superior Senior High nine exploded for seven runs in the fourth inning and rolled to an 11-1 win over the Proctor, Minn., High Rails in a Lake Superior Conference game at the Superior Babe Ruth Field.
The contest was halted at the end of five innings due to the 10-run rule.
The conference-leading Spartans are 9-1 overall this year.
Superior pitcher Tom Beattie copped his third win without a loss with help in the fifth inning from Mark Sather.
It was Beattie's first start in six contests after developing a sore arm. He fanned six batters and Sather one.
SSHS had eight hits with pinch-hitter Terry Reinkall's two-run homer ending the scoring.
The Spartans hosted Duluth Denfeld-Morgan Park in a key conference clash Saturday morning and will entertain the Rice Lake High Warriers in a WIAA Class A Regional Tournament at 4 p.m. Monday at the Babe Ruth Field.
