Proctor scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning and went on to defeat St. Francis in a Region 7AA South playoff game at Terry Egerdahl Memorial Field.
The Saints had taken a 2-0 lead in the top of the first on a home run by Jim Weidner, who was 3-for-3 with three RBI.
Mark Kieren, who went 3-for-3 for the Rails, hit two homers in the game, including a two-run shot in the sixth to complete the scoring.
Ray Sandstrom pitched 5 2/3 innings for the win, combining with Lee Stephenson for an eight-hitter.
Stephenson, Jeff Erikson and Randy Fietek had two hits apiece for Proctor, now 8-7.
The Rails play at North Branch at 4:30 p.m. today in a subregion semifinal.
