Nathan Sandman and Dardis had two hits each for Proctor. Winning pitcher Nick Seme threw three scoreless innings.

Nate Anderson and Tony Hanson each had two hits for Esko.

Boys ball wins opening game

The Rails boys baseball team won their season opener last week as they edged Esko 5-4.

Nick Seme pitched three scoreless innings for the win. Joe Dardis's sixth-inning double drove in two runs to put Proctor ahead for good.

Dardis and Nathan Sandman each had two hits to lead the Rails in the win.
