Rail Baseball Team Fades in Stretch

The 1962 edition of the Proctor High School baseball team got off to one of Proctor's fastest starts in years.

Following an opening 8-1 loss to Superior Central, the Rails racked up three straight victories.

Heavy hitting by both teams featured the Rails' 12-7 [sic] victory over Esko. Big blows for the victors were a three-run double by Bob Bell and a two-run two baser by Jerry Wedlund.
