PROCTOR -- Bryce Huffman hit a walk-off RBI single with one out in the bottom of the seventh to give Proctor a 3-2 win and a doubleheader sweep over Hermantown.

Cole Johnson (2-0 W-L, 1.62 ERA) tossed a three-hitter for the win. He threw 80 pitched in seven innings and allowed two unearned runs and three walks with one strikeout.

Hermantown went ahead 1-0 in the top of the second on no hits, a walk, and two Proctor errors.

The Rails tied the score in the bottom of the second. Blake Koski led off with a walk. Ryan Lear's sacrifice bunt advanced Koski two bases, and Koski scored on Jordan Linder's sacrifice fly.

Hermantown scored a run in the fifth for a 2-1 lead. Darian Gotz led off with a walk, advanced a base on a passed ball, moved to third on a single by Brady Baker, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Wyatt Sonneson.

Proctor evened the score in the sixth. Huffman led off with a single and Zach Gunderson was hit by a pitch, which spelled Hermantown starter Jayden Isensee. Gavin LeGarde relieved Isensee. Koski's sacrifice bunt sent Matt Johnson, running for Huffman, to third and Gunderson to second. Lear hit into an RBI groundout, plating Matt Johnson.

In the bottom of the seventh, Austin Parrott singled with one out for his third hit of the game. Ben Harnell's single moved Austin Parrott to second. Lucas Nordquist walked to load the bases for Huffman, who delivered a single into left field for the game-winning run.

Huffman had two hits and an RBI. Austin Parrott had three hits, including a double, and a run.

Baker led Hermantown with two hits.

Proctor, now 6-1, is back in action at Marble on Thursday, May 4, at 4:30 p.m., against Greenway.
