Mike Mesenbourg, Rick Palmer and Bill Moen combined for a no-hitter with Mesenbourg picking up the victory for Proctor. Mesenbourg worked the middle three innings, relieving Palmer, and Moen hurled the last two frames.

Mesenbourg was also the Proctor hitting star with a one-run double as the Rails upped their season mark to 6-2. Dave Beardsley poked a pair of singles for Proctor. ...
