Steve Grote threw a hive-hit shutout to lead Central past Proctor 6-0 in District 26 play. He got all the runs he needed in the second when Troy scored twice on a walk to Scott Lord and consecutive singles by Joe Edwards, Steve Greenfield and Grote.
