Proctor, sparked by Bill Norton's two-run home run, broke a 1-all tie with five runs in the fourth inning and defeated Central 11-4 Friday in a Subregion 2 playoff game.

The Rails added four runs in the sixth inning as Tom Peterson had a solo home run and Tim Sundstrom added a triple.

Winning pitcher Gary Barby went the distance and allowed six hits.

Proctor, 6-11, next faces No. 1-seeded Chisago Lakes at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Cloquet.
