DULUTH -- Mora defeated Proctor, 7-3, in an elimination bracket game to advance to the semifinals of the Section 7AA Playoffs.

Proctor took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Blake Imhoff led off with a double, advanced to third on a bunt single by Wyatt Mineheine, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Tanner Ross. Mineheine then scored from second on an RBI double by Nick Terhaar.

Mora plated six runs on six hits, two walks, and a hit batsman to jump ahead, 6-2, in the fourth. The Mustangs scored another run in the fifth on a dropped third strike, a stolen base, and an RBI double.

Cooper Johnson led off the bottom of the seventh with a single and Antrell Yoki entered as his courtesy runner. Yoki took second on Blake Imhoff's single. After one out, Tanner Ross walked to load the bases. Terhaar grounded out, with Yoki scoring on the play for the game's final run.

Blake Imhoff and Ian Gilles had three hits apiece. Terhaar had two RBI.

Tanner Ross (3-2, 2.08 ERA) took the loss. He allowed six runs on six hits, four walks, and one hit batsman with four strikeouts in four innings. Mineheine tossed three effective innings in relief. He allowed one run (unearned) on two hits and one walk with four strikeouts.

Proctor finished the season with a 14-10 record.

Mora will play Rock Ridge at 7:00 p.m. for an opportunity to face Esko in Thursday's championship game(s).
